Anne Borchert, MPOD 20 MLOC Co-President, 2026-2027
Senior Director of Engagement, Cuyahoga Land Bank Principal & Chief Reinvention Officer, AB3 Partners
Cleveland, OHI am a member of the MPOD20 Cohort. I live in CLE, Ohio but have also lived in NYC, Chicago, LA, and Japan - for almost 10 years! I launched my consulting practice after working at Case Western Reserve for 26 years. This led me to the Cuyahoga Land Bank where I lead their external engagement function – a wonderful mission driven organization! I am passionate about building new areas of an organization whether that be from scratch or changing the focus to strategically build. Case let me do this from within, building an office for the University in Tokyo, to building out the Office of Corporate Relations. Working with an incredible team to create the 50th anniversary of the MOD/MPOD/MLOC program was a true joy! The MLOC Community (what we are calling the collective network) is full of broad strategic thinkers who bring their entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial ideas to life - I now look forward to helping build this network of incredible people across globe.

Kyle Swanson, MPOD 9 Co-chair, Program Action Committee
Founder, Ziel Leadership
Oconomowoc, WII'm MPOD 09, graduated in 2014. These days I'm in Oconomowoc, WI, where I founded Ziel Leadership and built Capacity, a blended learning program to help people close the gap between what they know, and what they do under pressure. Most development adds skills. Capacity removes what's blocking people from using the skills they already have.
MPOD was a transformational experience, and I'm grateful to be part of such an extraordinary group who shared something exceptional. I'd love to stay connected to this community.
Outside of work, I hike. All over Wisconsin, and the Portuguese Coastal Route of the Camino. Next up: the Tour du Mont Blanc, or the Rob Roy Trail in Scotland.

Sarah Spengler Past President
Principal & Chief Reinvention Officer, Grace Partners
Cleveland, OHI finished the MOD program (MOD 6) in 1987. I’ve been involved in alumni activities since they first started in 2007 as very small efforts. I am really excited and gratified that the 50th Anniversary Celebration has prompted more alumni to get engaged in our work and look forward to passing the leadership baton. I am semi-retired these days (in Cleveland) still doing some leadership coaching and consulting focused on team effectiveness and reinvention. I feel I can support the new Leadership Council with my historical knowledge, my network, and my information collection and curation talents.

Argerie Vasilakes Past President

Cleveland, OHI bring what I learned in MPOD 5 (2010) to The PassingOn Collective, based in Cleveland, Ohio. That’s the business I co-founded, which helps to build communities of trust, care, and presence in civic, faith-based, educational and family systems during times of transition, loss, and death. I am pleased to support MLOC in this passage to its next chapter, and offer my knowledge of what was with space for what wants to be. I am overjoyed to be part of a team of veteran and newly minted practitioners from this community working together to develop a service for alums and the field that highlights OD practice in the field.
